Peter grew up on a cattle farm south west of Campbellford and started cash crop farming and custom work in 1994. He & his family now farms about 2500 acres. He moved an elevator with 30,000 bushels from Woodstock to the Campbellford site in 1998. He kept adding space and would eventually license it as a commercial facility 10 years later. There is now over 3 million bushels on that site, and 5.5 million on other sites. Peter had to learn how to basis trade and sees grain markets from the two vastly different perspectives of a price sensitive farmer and a world where grain has no price.
